I'm sure that's not the first time you've heard NYC called such. But for a hardcore Red Sox fan like myself, well, that's exactly what's going on. If you remember, I knit a pair of Red Sox socks for my friend, Beth. They looked like this:

I LOVE these! I'm a native New Yorker and Yankee fan but my best friend is a Bostonian who loves her some Red Sox. I'm going to Rav right now and getting this pattern to make these for her! Thanks so much for sharing the pattern!
You could...I guess, if you're a yankee fan do them in navy blue and white....
